One of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process was hiring you as our DJ! … Throughout the planning we also decided to use their services for the backdrop, and photo-booth!! They helped us along throughout our planning process, and helped make several huge decisions, including having Jeff come out in his RCMP uniform as a big surprise for all our guests (one of the most talked about surprises too!). They are so easy to talk to, and the services are amazing. We loved the online request option, our music was perfect. The backdrop was absolutely beautiful and made our pictures sparkle (literally). The photo booth was also one of the funnest things of the night! The pictures are great!! 5 Stars Across the Board!!

I had Terry and Gerry come to my high schools prom on June 24th 2014! Let me say that their photo booth services went above and beyond my expectations! Terry and Gerry provided an abundance of fun, unique props that made the photos even more spectacular! The quality of the photos are amazing and it was a bonus that they printed out so quickly after the pictures were taken. Both Terry and Gerry were very nice and welcoming to deal with – everyone who attended prom had nothing but good words to say about their kindness.They are also very organized and flexible in the months that build up to the event, which made the process stress free and very easy! I would hire this company again in a heart beat as they were nothing less than AWESOME! If you hire them for your event you will not be disappointed with the results! They deserve 5 STARS across the board! 🙂 🙂

We still laugh at the creativity for activities on the dance floor, and the song selection.Your professionalism during the wedding ceremony and strong orating skills Gerri is something to be proud of. We’ve watched our ceremony on video, and it is truly special. The decorating was what put everything over the top. Our initial fears were literally covered; and from the pictures posted, it is evident how magical the two of you made the reception area (both upstairs and downstairs). Finally, our wedding event was unique in that it spanned the whole weekend. It is not that often you will find a vendor(s) who will become part of it (staying two nights), staying up late hours answering our questions, decorating, etc. We were honored to have you part of the experience. We’re forever grateful. The dance floor was packed all night – people kept saying to us “we’d like to go and get another drink but we don’t want to miss any of these great songs”

We could not have asked for more accommodating and professional DJ’s. Site tour before hand and multiple phone calls to go over every last detail prior to the wedding to be sure everything went without a hitch. They worked very well with family who sang at our wedding to practice before the ceremony. Nothing was too much to ask. We rented chair covers from Homemade Jam and they fit well, were easy to put on chairs and weren’t stained. Photobooth was such a fun experience for us, as well as all our guests. And the music was awesome! The dance floor was packed all night – people kept saying to us “we’d like to go and get another drink but we don’t want to miss any of these great songs”. We can’t thank Terry and Gerri enough for the wonderful job they did and we would recommend their services to anyone. You won’t be disappointed. I must say you guys are top notch in comparison

I have been meaning to email you and let you know how great the lights looked and how much our guests and ourselves loved the photobooth. I was recently at a wedding dance and they had a photobooth I must say you guys are top notch in comparison:) There was only allowed 5 people at a time and somehow their heads were always cut off! I had a few comments from guests who were at our wedding that were there, about how much more they enjoyed our photobooth and the attendants. Just wanted to pass that along. One of our best wedding day decisions was deciding on Gerri and Terry as our DJs!

As with the planning of any event, you are bound to run in to issues. There are going to be things that happen beyond your control and things you couldn’t have predicted, even with a crystal ball. I didn’t encounter many issues along the way, but when I did, even if they had nothing to do with what a DJ would normally do, Terry would have some sort of solution. Our wedding reception was every we dreamed it would be and more. Our guests are constantly telling us our reception was one of the best EVER. One of our best wedding day decisions was deciding on Jerri and Terry as our DJ. Not only did they do a great job with our reception, but a late notice, our ceremony music as well. Terry and Gerri Humphries are the total package,we had a very unique wedding theme, ( Hillbilly/ Redneck ) Gerri preformed as our officiant at our wedding and was very flexable with our wishes and requests and was up for anything we asked of him and he did not disappoint us at all, he was amazing!!! Terry was our wedding planner and she was just as amazing, very organized, open and had awesome suggestions, advice and idea’s and as our D.J’s & MC of our ceremony, dinner and reception they were awesome, like I said they are the total package. My husband and I were married on June 16th, 2012. Terry and Gerri of Homemade Jam! did an absolutely amazing job. They are both extremely professional and well organized. What an AMAZING DJ service. If your looking for professional and reliable DJs Terry and Gerri are it! We had them travel to Muskoka for our September wedding. From the moment they arrived they were on top of everything. The rehearsal ran very smoothly and was so beautifully organized down to every little detail. Gerri was our officiant for our outdoor ceremony and Terry was a perfect MC!! She knew exactly what was going on and when. The speeches and music were clear and perfect. We had so many people come up to us the next day with many compliments on our DJ!… Our guests had a great time dancing all night long with HOMEMADE JAM! 100% recommendation! I don’t know what we would have done without you!

Thank you sooooooooo much for doing an amzing job at our wedding!!! It was honestly the best music ever!! We had so many compliments about how great you were and we are soooo happy with the whole night. You really made our day amazing and we are forever indebted to you!!!!! I don’t think there was a song we didn’t like, or the crowd didn’t love. You were so in tune with our guests and we have gotten so many compliments about how fun you are! You also went above and beyond the call of duty. Our hall almost burnt down and we didn’t even know! You were all over the crisis control and we thank you so much for this!! From our first dance right through to the last, it was an evening of fun, playing the music that kept everyone dancing, some people just never stopped dancing!

Joe and I really wanted to host a celebration of our lives with our families and friends. Our wedding music is so important to having a special service and a great party. We had a tough time finding a DJ service for our wedding. I asked around, called people I was referred to, I searched the web and local phone book. I could reach some by phone, but most never even followed up. I tried emails and many never got back to me at all or weeks later. I was discouraged and started to look outside of our “home town”. When I found Homemade Jam DJ! they replied immediately, allowed me to view the full web site, the services page and answered all the questions and concerns I had. With the economy taking a dive we started to worry about the pricing. It was an issue. So we started again to try to find a DJ who we could be happy with. After further calls, to some nice but clearly scattered DJs and unanswered emails Joe and I decided to contact Homemade Jam DJ! again and see if they still had our date available. Lucky us they still did. Terry and Gerri offered to meet with us in person to relieve some of our worries and concerns. Are we ever glad we took them up on the offer. My Joe can be a stickler. He flat out asked “what makes you worth the hundreds of dollars more than the others?” Here’s what we got…the support , professionalism the personal touches and the service provided, for the choice of music, the choice in what elements we wanted included and ones we did not, help with the details at the wedding site, the meeting for the final decisions about placing and room layout, at the rehearsal( the day before) AND the music before the actual ceremony, during and after our service and reception, the quality, sound and reliability of the equipment ( the back up equipment if needed ) was super. At the end of our wedding night Terry asked “So what was the difference between us and a cheaper DJ?” and I said as Joe and I where walking out the door with a huge grin, “the difference is the best friggin party ever!!” They followed through with every detail we wanted and provided the greatest music! From our first dance right through to the last, it was an evening of fun, playing the music that kept everyone dancing, some people just never stopped dancing! Homemade Jam’s service was excellent and the process was certainly the easiest of all our planning once they became involved. Very helpful and wouldn’t hesitate to Homemade Jam for other events. Certainly have been to receptions were OTHER DJ services had been very poor and reflected on the entire evening….you get what you pay for. Don’t take the chance on such a special event get the “half the price guy” you will regret it!! Thanks Homemade Jam for the wonderful night.
